B-2 FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF CAMP
Brad Hall--When I got to camp I thought that it would be smaller but just as nice as it is. Also when I heard that the pool was very small, I thought that it would only be a few feet long
and a couple feet wide. They did have the other stuff I thought and more. When I heard about the hiking I figured it would be in walking distance and as soon as I found out about where it was and how long it was, I
was happy.
Jairod Collins--My first impression of camp was that it was clean and tidy.
Joshua Barton--Before I came to camp I thought that I would not make any friends, but when I got to camp it was completely different. People were friendly and kind and invited me into their group, which turned into a
very good time. Camp is a very good experience with all the activities and all the counselors, and I hope to come back next year.
Anticipations of Camp by Glen Roscoe
Upon my arrival at camp, the “camp” was not impressive or big, but that was not what was impressive. The content and attitude of everyone at camp was exceptional. This was what made the camp impressive.
The staff and administration were eager and ready to help. This added to the enjoyment of camp. I also appreciated all the instructors, especially the Christian Living instructors. They added to the learning aspect
of camp, which made this experience very fulfilling. Also, the campers themselves displayed a very good attitude, which represented a great feeling and experience, creating a place you could really call the “ZONE.”
What I Learned While Hiking byKevin Wubben
One important thing I learned is when you’re hiking you need to bring a lot of bug spray. If you forget it, you’re as good as eaten. The thing I learned that was cool was reading a compass so I knew where I was going.
