How To Connect
To connect to the cybercast it is best if you have a Pentium class computer with
speakers, an internet connection, and REAL PLAYER. The latest version is G2, but
there are other versions will work on older, slower machines that G2 will not work
on. If you have an older machine, download an older version of REAL PLAYER...
then test to see if you can play the TEST SOUND FILE. If you are able to view these
web pages, it is must likely your system WILL play the file IF you have speakers
and a sound card. Just fill out the form on the REAL download page and specify your operating system and computer type.
Minimum requirements for RealPlayer G2:
90MHz Intel Pentium processor or equivalent, 16MB of RAM, 14.4Kbps modem (audio
only); 28.8Kpbs modem (video), 16-bit sound card and speakers, 65,000-color video
display card (video), Windows 95 operating system, Internet connection and web
browser
The Real Player software is available for free at
www.real.com
. You do NOT need to purchase the "PLUS" version of the program. If you do NOT
have a Pentium class machine, when filling out the download form, indicate what
operating system you have and what type CPU you have.. and REAL will direct your
download to the correct version for your machine. FOLLOW THEIR DIRECTIONS to
install the software on your computer. The directions are on the same page
as where you download the software.
