This evenings topic is entitled:
Christ's Message to Us

Tonight we will be studying Matthew 5-6-7, commonly referred to as the Sermon on the Mount. We are told in Matthew 28 we are to teach the things that Jesus Christ taught.  In chapters 5-6-7 we have the largest collections of those teachings in one set of verses.

Here are some of the questions we will be looking at during the study:

1.Who is Jesus speaking to?  Did he know these people?

2.Why did they marvel that Jesus spoke with authority?

3. Do we need to have all the traits mentioned in the first verses of chapter 5?

4. How do these words of Christ form the essence of what it means to be a Christian?

5. What is the difference between preaching and teaching?

6. How did Christ put these words to action in his life?

7. How can or should we be putting them to action in our life?
